lymphatic drainage

Gentle detoxification

The lymphatic system is a fundamental circulatory system within the body to eliminate waste and toxins. Not to mention, this system plays a major role in enhancing the immune system! A congested lymphatic system may cause these biological wastes and toxins to accumulate, leading to a variety of ailments such as, fibromyalgia, inflammation, arthritis, skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, skin rashes), depression, allergies and more. Detoxing the lymphatic system regularly can be beneficial for improving your health and general well-being.

A session of lymphatic drainage begins with a brief hot stone massage using some essential oils (usually lavender). Then, the practitioner will use an ultrasound machine to go along the major lymph nodes throughout the body to gently drain and detoxify the system. Other essential oils may be used during the treatment, depending on the focus of the treatment.
